5 Tech Trends to Watch in 2019

CES week in Las Vegas is basically the Super Bowl for tech-heads. It’s a week that always seems to deliver a perfect mix of weird and wonderful; your typical and your not so typical tech products. OK yes, they are all fictional characters on TV shows, but let’s take it a step further. Afterall, these aren’t just your average, run-of-the-mill characters, these are the kind of characters that MAKE a show.

Walk It Out!

While the Masters golf tournament brings fans the traditional, Augusta National pomp and circumstance, the Zurich Classic, down in New Orleans, is looking to widen the appeal of golf by channeling its inner happy place…as in Happy Gilmore. Last year the tournament introduced a two-man format (essentially team golf), but this year they are looking to make some real noise.

The Super Bowl Sneak

In Fijian, the word yalo means soul. It’s the origin of conscience. Spirit. Heart. Vitality. For our Tribe, that core essence is deeply rooted in music, sports and entertainment. Meet Your New X
This past Tuesday, Apple announced their much-rumored iPhone X (it’s totally pronounced TEN btw). Steve Jobs introduced us all to the iPhone a decade ago, so it’s only fitting for the 10th Anniversary Edition iPhone to be called X. It features 5.8 inches of edge-to-edge, OLED display with an all glass design that allows for wireless charging. Sorry, the headphone jack is still missing. Although, I’m sure the Strange Parts dude could hook you up.
